i am a malaysian too, and my wife is from china (wuhan).
we have been together for almost 10 years, but i have to say we had issues initiailly (probably due to nationality) but we did not give up, and we are now a very happy couple.
I hope the reason you left was not due to differnces in nationality...i have to say sometimes malaysian parents sometimes cannot accept other countriies.

which part of malaysia is he from?

anyway, should be having healthy food, laksa has a lot of coconut milk, not so healthy
