标题: What have you done in 2009
Holiday finishes on 4 Jan. Recently, I have a chated with a group of friends and it just reminded me, What I have done in 2009. Ym... I guess That is a funny year for me. A little bit drametic. I was going to give up getting the PR. However, I received a phone call from the manager and now he become my manager.

What about you guys? Would you mind sharing your story to everyone? It might benefit to others.

我是pr了已經，我學的是professional accounting,但是我不找會計工作，第一我都的很差勁，第二我不感興趣，我想找一個輕鬆一點的工作，錢多錢少沒有關係，畢竟以後不可能是靠我賺錢吧～我最失敗的是電話面試，2次銀行的工作就這樣沒有了～

Read some of your posts before, seems like you are in the engineering industry? Wondering how you broke into this industry, they all want someone with experience, but without the first job how do you get the damn experience?!

I understand your feeling. I had the same thought. You just need to try a lot. If each company you apply, the chance that you will be hired is 0.01% if you try 10 your hired rate should be 0.1% if you try more, it will add up. I have applied all top 50 construction companies, all AUS councils, many of other companies.I did try to ask bulider as well. The answer is you just need to try.
What is your profession? Are you PR visa holder?

Maybe you should have better preparation. There are many common questions. usually they will ask you. What makes us think we should hire you? What are you going to contribute to XX company? Why did you pick us? What is your goal in the next 5 or even 10 years. bababa.... Also, you should know the companies well. in case they ask you about them.

Got PR couple years now. Environmental engineering. This industry sounds great but real tough to break into.

找工作不易，我09年四分之三的时候都在找工作，另外四分之一的时间则是被失败的面试所沮丧。希望新的一年会带来好运。

Ym .. as far as i know. It s not easy to get a job as in your profession. because there are not many position ava. You know it's not like civil.
You can try to apply positon in governemnts, like councils
You know once you get a few years working experience, your paid is like 70k per yr if you are lucky enough, but it shard to get start

我现在这个工作就是不用太动脑子，一天对着电脑就行了。可惜不知道能不能呆得长久。

我很顺利拿到pr，我很满足～
我经历了开心，难过，平淡，幸福。但是总得来说我觉得自己一年比一年好，算命说得不会错得～

Win (was lucky enough to catch, but not in my plan)
Lose (was bad luck, been catched by...)
very hard year for me, nothing was planned, and the fact didnt follow my plan
so many shocking news, either good shock and bad shock

我也是ACCOUNTING毕业的,虽然有过很多工作经验,虽然从ACCOUNTING CLERK 做到ACCOUNTING MANAGER, 但每次都是我把老板抄了鱿鱼,然后当我下不了决心改职业,又回到ACCOUNTING,找到更高薪水的ACCOUNTING JOB, 做了没多久,又炒了老板...

其实找工作不难,在GOOGLE里打上JOB SEEKER, 会出来很多工作网站,我最常用的是SEEK.COM,还有就是在不同的JOB AGENT里登记,我经常收到JOB AGENT的找人工作的信息.

还有就是你的申请信和简历了,我做ACCOUNTING MANAGER的时候,我们部门招人,我发现很多中国人的简历,都是中国式的英文,而且面试的时候,我想帮那些中国人都很难,因为他们太谦虚谨慎了,没有信心,没有自信,问到最后,都说不会,其实我知道他们不会,但我需要的答案是"这方面我的经验不足,但这个很容易解决,如果给我机会和时间的话,你不会失望的..."

我天天上seek，只要我认为自己能胜任得工作我都申请了，但是每天不但收到同样多得拒绝信之外，有时候还能收到mail过来得拒绝信，不环保不说还真把我打击死了～论坛有个很热心得mm给我了agent得电话，我打过去谈了一下，人家听我说没有经验，都说爱莫能助。还有一个有心得男生在银行工作，把他得detail都告诉我了，为了让我能网上申请得时候把他写上去作为公司内部推荐人可能机会更大点，但是最后都是无疾而终....我总在想，不给我机会我哪里来得经验，我又不笨。社会真是矛盾～有时候真不知道是不是上天在暗示我该回国看看，或者能过得更好～ 2010年迷茫无奈得开始～真不知道自己一个人还能在这里执着多久～sigh....

不要灰心，可以试试把要求降低一点，先找到一份然后骑牛找马

第一, 你的简历有问题
第二, 你可以找一些免费的社团里的相关工作
第三,明确你到底想找什么样的工作,如果你不喜欢财务,却去面试财务,对你面试的人是可以感觉得到的.
第四,找到你非常非常想做的工作,然后去认识这个圈子里的朋友,了解他们具体做什么,越详细越好,想一些面试的问题问他们.
第五,把自己的要求放低,非常自信和诚恳的去面试,在面试前对公司做一番调查(想象你已经在那个面试的公司里做了好多年,非常有心得)
第六,如果三个月内不成功,去找大学里的CAREER COUSLTANT,让他们为你评估...........
第七,形象设计
