Hiring: Retail Assistant
Casual / Part-time position available in a multi-faceted business with outlets in S.E to N.E Qld
Potential for Full time / Secure long term job after probation period
Job Description
Our team at PaperBoxx is looking to expand, with stores located from Robina to Noosa. We are looking for reliable individuals with previous customer service experience, a positive attitude & the enthusiasm to learn to join our team.
The offered position will include the following daily duties (but are not limited to):
✓ Engaging, serving & assisting customers;
✓ Money handling including EFTPOS & cash transactions;
✓ Operating cash register & lottery terminal;
✓ Maintaining, replenishing & merchandising stock & products displays
✓ Responsive service of lotteries & other gambling products;
✓ Opening tasks including OH&S, cleaning/housekeeping procedures & register balancing;
✓ Assist management in achieving maximum sales by providing the best level of customer service & proposing add-on products;
✓ Maintaining effective communication with management, co-workers & customers;
✓ Able to achieve KPI targets
Minimum Requirements:
• Ability to operate unsupervised at a high volume and with high standards of performance.
• Having a positive attitude
• Acceptance of personal responsibility.
• Ability to contribute actively and successfully as part of a team.
• Lottery sales experience preferred but not necessary

Schedule:
➢ Morning shift
➢ Afternoon shift
➢ Evening / Night shift
➢ Flexible hours
Expected Start Date: As soon as possible

Applicants with a customer service background are a must & those with newsagency experience will be beneficial. On-the-job training / Full training will be provided which includes Lotto Training.  We anticipate being able to offer 12+ hours a week, with the possibility of additional shifts.
