Please join us in congratulating Brisbane intern Kamaljeet successfully securing an Assistant Accountant position in a metal recycling company.
  
Before she joined Platinum's Accounting Training and Internship program, she was not clear about what accounting work was and found it very difficult to attend interviews with only an accounting degree. After being rejected for a long time, she joined our accounting training and internship program. She started learning practical accounting skills. She made effort to master key accounting skills and accumulate experience from the internship.
  
In September, good news finally came from her. After attending a couple of interviews, she successfully secured an accounting position and stepped into a professional accounting career.

Hi Barbara,

I would like to thank you for your support and happy to share the news that i got  a job as an assistant accoutant in a Metal Recycle company.My new role will include accounts payable, account receivable, Data  entry and  Payroll in MYOB.

I was afraid to apply for jobs due to lack of local experience but during my internship at Platinum i gained  just not the experience but also i became more confident to use the MYOB software.

As am working full time i will not be able to continue my internship and need to suspend it.In future if i need to i will resume the same.

I would like to share my interview experience with all other members of platinum accounting.Some of the questions asked by interviewers are:-
  
- Introduce yourself
-What are your strengths and weaknesses
- How confident you are to use MYOB
-Why would you want to work with us
-What are your long term goals
-If you are selected when are you available to start.
